DPDP Notice
This notice is given under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and explains your rights as a Data Principal, and how to exercise them.
Who the Data Fiduciary is
For your account data, the Data Fiduciary is AugmenTrait Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
For data about the people you contact through AugRank — your leads and prospects — you are the Data Fiduciary and AugRank acts as your Data Processor. We process that data only on your instructions. If one of your leads asks to see or delete their data, that request is yours to answer; AugRank gives you the export, correction, and deletion tools to do it.
What we process, and on what basis
- To deliver the service you asked for — your account details, configuration, and the data needed to run audits, generate content, and send outreach.
- To meet a legal obligation — invoices, tax records, and records we must keep by law.
- With your consent — connecting Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or LinkedIn. You give this at connect time and can withdraw it at any time by disconnecting.
Your rights
- Right to access — a summary of the personal data we process about you and who we have shared it with.
- Right to correction and erasure — correct anything inaccurate or incomplete, and have data erased where we no longer need it.
- Right to grievance redressal — a defined route to complain, and a response within statutory timelines.
- Right to nominate — nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
- Right to withdraw consent — as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing consent for a connected service stops future processing but does not undo processing already carried out lawfully.
How to exercise them
- Export — Settings → Danger zone → Export data. You receive a complete archive of your organisation's data.
- Deletion — Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This deletes your dedicated database schema and stored credentials. Invoices and tax records are retained where law requires.
- Anything else — write to privacy@augrank.com.
We respond to requests within 72 hours.
Grievance officer
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, contact our grievance officer at grievance@augrank.com. If you remain unsatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Consent records
We keep a record of consent you give — what you consented to, when, and from where — and you can view it in your account. Withdrawing consent is recorded the same way.
Cross-border processing
Your data is stored in India. Some sub-processors operate outside India for specific functions; each is listed on our sub-processors page with its location and purpose.
